• Responibility for actions: As a group that is designed to be a safe, sacred space to work on our self/spiritual growth and inner healing along with worshiping the Goddess and God, immaturity won't be tolerated and responsibility for our actions is expected. This group is a family friendly group and actions of its members need to reflect that.




• Drug and Alcohol Policy: Drug use or being under the influence of drugs is Not allowed during SFC events. Underage drinking is not allowed at SFC functions. Anyone breaking this rule be asked to leave the function and their membership will be revoked.





• Honesty in self-representation: Not claiming titles or lineage you don't have; and not claiming to speak for Sacred Flame Circle without authorization from Rev. Dawn Earthsong.





• Following a Non-Rumor-Proliferation policy: We shall not participate in the proliferation of malicious gossip or rumor within the Pagan community, nor shall we support those who do so.





• Non-discrimination: No discrimination based on race, gender, spiritual tradition, or sexual orientation; nor belittling anyone for any of the above.





• Directness in communication: Taking responsibility for communicating your needs as clearly and honestly as you are able. To the best of your ability, listening carefully, and speaking with respect, honesty, and courtesy.





• Respecting privacy: It is a breach of ethics to reveal anyone else's involvement in the Pagan community without their permission. Keep other member's personal information private. Do not talk about anyone's employment or where they live. When workshops are held at others homes, only the host is allowed to give out directions to their homes. Members are NOT allowed to give out address's to anyone, whether it is another member or a non-member





• Respecting consensuality: not participating in any non-consensual physical, psychic, emotional, or magickal actions while associated with Sacred Flame Circle.





• Responsibility for our children: Children are very welcome in our group, as we believe they should be able to worship with their parents in a group environment. Yet, we expect parents to take responsibility for their children and their children's actions. We do not have a childcare worker employed, therefore each parent must be responsible for their own.





• Responsibility with the yahoogroup and email:

  1 - Flaming members will not be tolerated.
  2 - No vulgar, lewd or obscene graphic content. If you wouldn't say it or show it to children, don't use it here.
  3 - Personal threats, harassment or intimidation via the board or personal e-mail will not be tolerated.
  4 - Do not use member's personal e-mail for spam purposes or provide the addresses to others for spam purposes.
  5- No selling of items on the list, unless we have met you in person first.
  6 - No Posting of events on the list, unless we have met you in person first.




• When a member may be removed:

  - Not following the Code of Conduct
  - Proof of committing a non-victimless crime: While the community may disagree on whether all laws are just, there are some we can all agree on: non-consensual acts like theft, molestation and assault. Banning will occur upon proof of this type of crime. Rev. Dawn Earthsong will work on a case by case basis if there is no proof presented.
  - Consistent antagonistic behavior - Antagonists are individuals who, on the basis of evidence, go out of their way to make insatiable demands, usually attacking the person or performance of others. These attacks are selfish in nature, tearing down rather than building up.
