Rev. Dawn Earthsong Our study group has had 2 successful bard circles within our group recently and thought we'd share the experience with the community.
It will be held at the Clintonville Community Center, located on 14 W. Lakeview St. in Clintonville. This is off of High St. near Weber. Only street parking is available.
We plan to have a start time of 7:30 pm and ending at 9:30 pm.
There are 3 rules:
- Please keep everything rated G - this is a kid friendly event.
- Keep all skits/poems/stores/acts/dances/songs to no more than 3 minutes to give everyone a chance to share. But, please bring more than one item to share if you wish. With 3 minute time limits, we should be able to do more than one pass with the talking stick.
- We will be passing around a 'talking stick'. The person with the talking stick has the floor and we are to be courteous to the one performing.
The event is free, but we will be passing the hat. All monies collected will go to the Community Center.
